Aarme Fractional CO2 Laser TreatmentAnti-aging Breakthrough: Fractional CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing
The anti-aging breakthrough of the decade, according to many doctors, is a skin-resurfacing treatment known as CO2 fractional laser therapy. Combining the effectiveness of traditional carbon dioxide lasers -- long thought to be the gold standard in wrinkle removal -- with a new application technique, it delivers powerful results without the traditionally harsh side effects.
"Essentially, you are getting all the benefits of laser resurfacing, still the best way to remove wrinkles, but you’re getting it without the downtime and without the horrendous complication rate," says Madison Buckley, MD, director of Aarme Aesthetic Institute of Naples, FL.
While laser resurfacing doesn’t come cheap it is quick and highly effective, accomplished in one or two sessions, with about four days downtime.
Q. Am I a candidate for Fractional CO2 laser Treatments?
A. The only way to measure your candidacy for a Fractional resurfacing would be schedule a consultation to review your goals, perform an examination, and review options with you...
Fractional is an outstanding tool which will address many problems with great success.
Q. What should I expect after Fractional CO2 laser treatments?
A. All Fractional C02 Lasers including have comparable post-op recovery, depending on the setting of the laser as determined by your board-certified aesthetic physician and your skin types.
There are various levels of depth that can be done with the Fractional C02. For patients that want a mild, but rejuvenated and refreshed look, with minimal downtime, a treatment at a lower setting would be used, with 5-7 days of redness or downtime.
With patients who want more tightening, or may have deeper lines, wrinkles, scarring, etc. the downtime could be 2-3 weeks or more. We as doctors can control the depth, and base it on the results and downtime that the patient desires.
It is an amazing treatment, and one of the top treatments in our office. With an experienced doctor, this treatment delivers outstanding results.
Q. Is Aarme Fractional CO2 laser effective for acne scars?
A. I would like to add that Micro Fractional Laser is particularly effective for treatment of skin conditions such as fine and coarse wrinkles, raised or unsightly scars (such as from acne scarring), uneven pigmentation and dilated pores. Deep pits and depths caused by acne can be reduced signicantly for smoother, tighter skin. My patients have identified the elimination of fine wrinkles, sun damaged skin, acne scars, brown spots on the face and hands as an important part of restoring a youthful appearance.
