What is Juvéderm™?
Juvéderm™ injectable gel is a smooth gel filler your doctor eases under your skin to instantly smooth out those wrinkles or folds that look like parentheses along the side of your nose and mouth.

What are the benefits of Juvéderm™ over other treatments?
Juvéderm™ injectable gel is produced through HYLACROSS™ technology creating a high degree of cross-linking and promoting duration for up to 6 months or longer.  HYLACROSS™ technology results in a smooth consistency gel, which is a primary factor in the long-lasting, smooth, natural  look and feel that is a hallmark of Juvéderm wrinkle correction.

Will there be any downtime?

There is no downtime; you may immediately return to your daily activities.

How long do the results last?
Results last six months or longer.

Who should avoid Juvéderm™?
Juvéderm™ should be avoided by those who have a history of excessive scarring, keloid formation, pigment disorders and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Are there any possible side effects?
Temporary side effects include possible swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising. With any injection there is some risk of infection.

Is additional treatment necessary?
Because the results eventually fade, additional treatment is necessary to maintain a smooth, youthful look.

Instructions for before treatment:

Avoid aspirin and other blood thinners before treatment.

Instructions for after treatment:
Resume normal activities, but be prepared for some slight redness or swelling. Plan ahead for special events..
